The Best Book Ever

Short and Sweet

Coranne (or Amanda C.) from Short and Sweet Reviews is starting a new weekly feature called "The Best Book Ever." Each week, different bloggers (some stay the same each week) will be "facing off" Food Network style to tell you why their choice of book is the best one in the genre. Each week a different topic will be featured.

This week's topic... FAIRIES! I got all excited about the topic, but then I realized I haven't read that many good fairy books. If this was a post about the worst fairy books I've read, I would have a long list. As much as I love my pixies, I haven't found many books that I've enjoyed. It's tragic.I thought long and hard about which book I would feature this week. Ultimately, I decided to go with a book that was released last month. It is a fairy book, but an uncommon fairy tale (no pun intended). I chose this one because it was surprising and not an all out glittery wand and fairy dust kind of story.

If you want to read my full review for the book I will be pushing, you can check it out here. Check out Short and Sweet Reviews to see what other "fairy" books the other bloggers are pushing.

Next week's topic: VAMPIRES! Aww, yeah! I've got a FANG-tastic pick ready to go!

Ah, your link is broken. I really like the idea of this meme, though. Sounds like fun!

I've just realized I haven't read many faerie tales either.

Don't Expect Magic sounds fun! Wouldn't expect a guy to be a godmother. LOL
