Waiting On Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating. When I was about nine years old, my parents took me to my very first stage performance. Back then, my city used to host summer night specials called "Shakespeare at the Met." On that particular evening the show was Twelfth Night. From the moment the lights hit the stage, I was hooked. Needless to say, Twelfth Night is one of my favorite Shakespeare plays. That play started a love affair with my buddy William, and I have eagerly devoured all of his plays since then. So, when I came across this book, I was thrilled. It's a retelling of my beloved Twelfth Night. I am patiently (or not so patiently) waiting on Celia Rees' The Fool's Girl.
