Coranne (or Amanda C.) from Short and Sweet Reviews hosts a weekly feature called "The Best Book Ever." Each week, different bloggers (some stay the same each week) will be "facing off" Food Network style to tell you why their choice of book is the best one in the genre. Each week a different topic will be featured.
To help celebrate Short and Sweet Review's one year anniversary, this week's Best Book Ever posts come with a giveaway. It was a little hard to decide which book I wanted to giveaway. There are so many books that I adore, but I finally decided on a book that I often overlook. I'm not a huge fan of mysteries, but there is one book that I always recommend for the genre.
My featured book and giveaway:
A bizarre chain of events begins when sixteen unlikely people gather for the reading of Samuel W. Westing's will. And though no one knows why the eccentric, game-loving millionaire has chosen a virtual stranger--and a possible murderer-- to inherit his vast fortune, one thing's for sure: Sam Westing may be dead... but that won't stop him from playing one last game!
Then check out Short and Sweet Reviews to see what other books are being featured. If you are entering for a chance to win a copy of Ellen Raskin's The Westing Game, please fill out the form below.
